Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst to secure and monitor the IT environment, assess risks, implement controls, and collaborate with engineers to support propulsion instrumentation and control systems for the U.S. Navy.
The role involves working with multiple sites to expand our IT environment and digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in IT systems and cybersecurity, with teamwork and communication skills to partner with stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Support RMF activities and maintain related documentation.
- Perform network security audits and evaluate configurations for compliance.
- Monitor security technologies and logs to detect and alert on incidents.
- Ensure IT systems and cybersecurity plans align with requirements.
- Contribute to security awareness and training programs.
- Collaborate with shipyards, Naval Reactors, BPMI and partners to grow the IT environment.
