Job summary

Intrinsic is seeking an IT Professional to join our defense-focused software team on-site in Bellevue, WA. You will install, maintain, configure, and test computer systems on secure networks, provide Tier 2 end-user support, and generate system documentation for engineers and leadership.

You will work with security compliance, DoD STIGs where applicable, and pursue required certifications while gaining experience across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field
• 2+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Ability to obtain Security+ certificate, a CISSP certification or equivalent Cyber Security certification
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. A final U.S. clearance post-start is required
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later), macOS (Sequoia 15 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later)
• Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems, to include Linux sub-systems, patching, packaging (RPM), performance tuning, networking, user management, and security
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 account management tools
• Technical writing and communication skills
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements
• Availability for travel

Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated IT Professional to join a highly talented software development company in the Defense industry. You will be an integral team member working directly on-site with technical leadership to maintain security policy compliance, track inventory, and work with our engineers to resolve technical challenges.

In this position you will:

Preferred qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in the software engineering or IT industry
• Experience maintaining and configuring Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience executing DoD STIGs for operating systems (Windows 11, macOS, Windows Server 2016+)
• Experience installing and configuring CMMC compliant environments
• Ability to generate technical documentations and guides for end users
• Knowledge of U.S. government inventory tracking and management best practices
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches
