Job summary

Intrinsic is seeking an IT Professional to join our defense-focused software team on-site in Bellevue, WA. You will install, maintain, configure, and test computer systems on secure networks, provide Tier 2 end-user support, and generate system documentation for engineers and leadership.

You will work with security compliance, DoD STIGs where applicable, and pursue required certifications while gaining experience across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in a relevant technical field
• 2+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Ability to obtain Security+ certificate, a CISSP certification or equivalent Cyber Security certification
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance. A final U.S. clearance post-start is required
• Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later), macOS (Sequoia 15 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later)
• Experience administering Red Hat Linux based systems, to include Linux sub-systems, patching, packaging (RPM), performance tuning, networking, user management, and security
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 account management tools
• Technical writing and communication skills
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements
• Availability for travel

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, configure, and test computer systems on secure networks
• Provide technical support and interact with end-users in-person, by email, or by response to tickets
• Provide Tier 2 and below technical support to end users
• Diagnose hardware issues and recommend solutions to IT leadership
• Generate system documentation and user guides
• Handle the shipping and receiving of hardware
• Monitor and elevate tickets
