Job Title: Purchasing Lead - IT Transformation

Pay rate: $70 to $90.71

Duration: 3 months

W2 contract only (No C2C)

Location- Reston, VA, 20190 (Hybrid)

Job Description

Lead activities related to purchasing for IT Transformation activities. Includes assessing current global IT contracts in place at client. Assessing each contract to determine how to negotiate/transfer/assign those agreements as needed amongst various client entities. Negotiate with suppliers for new contracts for software licenses. Work closely with IT engineering teams to ensure agreements are established and licenses are available to meet project milestones.

Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.

Required Skills

Deep knowledge of IT purchasing. Including negotiating software licensing agreements, Microsoft Agreements, contract law/terms.

Role Overview:

Primary Focus: IT purchasing, specifically software licenses and services.

Secondary Focus: Non-IT contracts, assessing key terms and obligations.

Responsibilities:

IT Transformation: Assessing current software agreements, understanding contractual relationships, and making necessary adjustments.

Contract Negotiation: Experience with major suppliers like Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, and VMware.

Data Management: Consolidating data from approximately 100 IT contracts and providing leadership summaries.

Data Proficiency: Skilled in handling and summarizing large amounts of data.
