Kohl's is seeking a Sourcing Analytics Analyst to work either in Menomonee Falls, WI or New York, NY. In this role, you will analyze data to optimize costs and enhance decision-making processes for sourcing. About the Role
As Sourcing Analytics Analyst, you will identify and communicate analytics related to optimizing cost of goods and other Private Brand metrics
What You’ll Do
Conduct analysis, determine insights and collaborate with different stakeholders
Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts and create visual presentations to help businesses make more strategic decisions
Leverage a suite of analytics tools to analyze data including spend and product cost in order to identify spend optimization, cost reduction opportunities and other key metrics
Maintain Sourcing Optimizing tools and models
Support the Senior Sourcing Analytics Analyst in identifying key insights from analyses, cutting through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications
Provide analysis to inform insights, reporting on findings and using analyses to help Sourcing prepare for critical vendor negotiations and overall company decision-making initiatives
Support Global Sourcing Product Services teams in initiatives by providing data, analysis and reporting
Track and report on macro commodity trends
Extract, clean and prepare data
Spreadsheet tool development and management
Summarize data and insights in a compelling, visual format
Build and maintain data visualization dashboards in Qlik
Leverage AI and other technology levers to provide data driven analytics and insights
What Skills You Have
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Finance or other quantitative field
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate analysis into insights
Preferred
2+ years of analytics and insights experience, particularly:
Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets
Experience building dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (ex: Tableau, Qlik)
Experience using SQL to query data in a data warehouse (ex: Teradata, BigQuery)
Experience with purchasing or supply chain management in the apparel / home goods industry and/or retail knowledge
Experience presenting complex data analyses
Experience w/PLM, including Sourcing Optimization tool experience
Modeling experience
Alteryx programming skill
For NY based applicants only, the pay range is $ 65,200 - $101,100
