HireTalent seeks a Project Controls Manager to drive financial governance, portfolio management, forecasting, reporting, and compliance across a technology organization. This role serves as a key liaison between IT and Finance, ensuring strong financial controls and data-driven leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of IT-related financial experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to work across multiple levels to deliver actionable insights

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT-related business processes or controls experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Technology/Science/Finance/Accounting or related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to articulate business and technology processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Support IT-related organizational governance and compliance with policies and GAAP.
• Partner with IT and Finance leadership to align portfolio performance with objectives.
• Provide financial insights for investment prioritization and risk management.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Execute forecasting, budgeting, accruals and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and transparent portfolio reporting; support month-end close.
• Conduct trend analysis and scenario modeling for business impacts.
• Assist with business case development and funding requests.
• Provide leadership with financial analysis and decision-support reporting.
• Benchmark portfolio performance against peers and large enterprises.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Education
