Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an IT Portfolio & Business Analysis Leader to drive delivery, governance, and strategic prioritization across the technology organization. You will oversee project delivery, business analysis, and demand management while partnering with senior leaders to modernize and optimize outcomes.

The role offers visibility to executive leadership and opportunities to shape enterprise-wide technology priorities and change initiatives within a growing enterprise

We're seeking an experienced IT Portfolio & Business Analysis Leader to oversee project delivery, business analysis, demand management, and governance practices within a growing enterprise technology organization. This role offers the opportunity to influence technology strategy, lead a high-performing team, and partner closely with senior leaders to drive modernization, operational excellence, and impactful business outcomes. You'll play a visible role in shaping how technology initiatives are prioritized, managed, and delivered across the organization.

What You'll Do

Delivery Leadership & Portfolio Management

• Help shape how technology initiatives are evaluated, planned, and delivered across the organization.
• Lead project delivery standards, governance processes, and portfolio management practices.
• Guide teams through planning, prioritization, risk management, and execution activities.
• Partner with technology and business leaders to align resources, timelines, and strategic objectives.
• Oversee project health, dependencies, resource utilization, and organizational readiness for change.
• Establish scalable frameworks that improve consistency, transparency, and delivery outcomes.

Business Analysis Excellence

• Drive a strong business analysis function that helps transform ideas into actionable solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of business analysis professionals.
• Create and enhance practices related to requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and solution evaluation.
• Ensure business needs and desired outcomes are clearly understood before work begins.
• Promote quality standards, documentation practices, and continuous improvement efforts.

Strategic Intake & Prioritization

• Help leaders make informed investment and prioritization decisions.
• Facilitate intake and evaluation of new technology requests.
• Support organizational prioritization discussions that balance value, capacity, complexity, and risk.
• Maintain visibility into upcoming demand and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to roadmap development and planning activities.

Leadership & Partnership

• Build strong relationships across technical and business teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team focused on project delivery and business analysis.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
• Foster collaboration among business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Support organizational adoption, communication, and change management efforts.

Operational Performance & Reporting

• Provide leadership with meaningful visibility into technology investments and outcomes.
• Develop executive-level reporting and portfolio insights.
• Create metrics that help drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support governance reviews, strategic planning, and investment discussions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve execution effectiveness.

What You Bring

• Experience leading project management, portfolio management, business analysis, or PMO-related functions.
• Background managing teams of project managers, business analysts, or similar professionals.
• Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience working within structured environments that emphasize governance, risk management, and accountability.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to drive process improvement, establish performance measures, and create operational discipline.
• Experience supporting project delivery throughout the full lifecycle of initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile and modern technology delivery practices.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in higher education or other complex service-based organizations.
• Professional certifications related to project management, business analysis, Agile delivery, or portfolio management.
• Experience supporting AI, data, digital transformation, modernization, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, business intelligence tools, or portfolio management applications.
• Knowledge of business analysis best practices and industry frameworks.
• Experience helping establish, grow, or mature PMO and governance capabilities.
