This role is for an IT Plant Manager overseeing all IT activities at our Wentzville, MO facility. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure, manufacturing software, and business operations to ensure seamless IT functionality supporting plant operations. As part of the Plant Leadership Team, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help shape the plant’s culture.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE working in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.

What You Need for the Role:

Education & Experience:

• MES background, automotive experience, and good communication with the hourly team
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• At least six (6) years of experience as an IT Manager
• Experience creating strategic IT plans (6+ years)
• Budget management experience (4+ years)
• Cross-functional team collaboration (4+ years)
• Project management (4+ years)
• Training and developing direct reports (3+ years)
• Organization and planning (6+ years)

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft OS and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• VMware, PC, RF, Printing, Server, and Network Storage Systems
• Networking troubleshooting and backup technologies

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with IT automotive systems
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Plex)
• Understanding of MES and plant floor networks

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly

What You Will Do:

• Oversee daily IT operations at the plant, including employee support
• Manage plant IT budgets and assist with corporate IT planning
• Supervise IT Plant Support Specialists and third-party vendors
• Ensure network, hardware, software, and telecom operations run smoothly
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure and applications
• Oversee hardware/software installation and compliance
• Provision end-user workstations/laptops
• Support troubleshooting using backup technologies and industry IT tools
