Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, and virtualization environments in a manufacturing setting. You will enforce endpoint security, support end users, and collaborate with IT teams to implement secure technology solutions.

The role offers hands-on exposure to automation, cybersecurity initiatives, MDM administration, and new OT deployments, aligning IT with advanced manufacturing needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Systems Administration or IT infrastructure experience
• Strong Active Directory administration experience (Users, Groups, GPOs)
• VMware or other virtualization platform experience
• Knowledge of Windows endpoint operating systems
• Understanding of endpoint security hardening and security best practices
• Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Basic networking knowledge including network topology, wireless systems, and firewalls
• Experience with backup/restore processes and system maintenance
• Ability to support vulnerability management and security compliance initiatives
• Strong customer service and end-user support skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure in VMware environments
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and Group Policy Objects
• Implement and enforce endpoint security policies and configurations
• Install, configure, and remove hardware and software solutions
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal users
• Monitor application performance and perform application maintenance
• Execute backup, restore, and system maintenance procedures
• Automate routine administrative functions using PowerShell and standard tools
• Support endpoint vulnerability management and resolve security events
• Administer MDM platforms including Google and SOTI
• Support deployment and integration of new Operational Technologies and manufacturing equipment
• Assess, document, and implement technology changes
• Investigate and resolve escalated incidents while ensuring proper documentation
• Analyze incident trends and contribute to continuous service improvement
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver secure technology solutions
