EnerSys in Greenville, SC is seeking a Program Manager, IT/OT & Digitalization to lead strategic planning and management of digital manufacturing initiatives for a new Lithium Gigafactory. You will oversee the OT/IT stack from PLCs to enterprise platforms, driving Industry 4.0 transformation.

The role partners with Automation, Manufacturing Ops, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Enterprise IT to deliver a secure, scalable smart factory built on Industrial IoT, edge computing, and a unified

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.
7–10 years IT/OT program management experience in high-tech or process manufacturing.
Experience delivering large OT/manufacturing systems (PLC/SCADA, historian, MES/MOM).
Knowledge of OT/IT convergence patterns (unified namespace, edge computing).

Responsibilities

Lead the IT/OT & Digitalization program for the Lithium Gigafactory from concept through commissioning and ramp-up.
Develop and execute OT and digital manufacturing roadmap aligned with Industry 4.0.
Standardize PLC/DCS architectures and data-acquisition design for enterprise OT standards.
Oversee OT platform integration: PLC/DCS, SCADA/HMI, historians, MES/MOM.
Establish modern connectivity standards (OPC UA, MQTT) and unified namespace.
Govern data strategy: time-series historization, dashboards, OEE/KPIs, analytics.
Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and System Integrators.
Manage budgets, plans, risks, and dependencies for digital manufacturing initiatives.
