Job summary

Patriot Healthcare is seeking an IT Operations Technician to deliver frontline technical support, manage equipment installation and maintenance, and ensure secure, reliable IT services across Patriot Healthcare locations in South Carolina. The role supports Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, mobile devices, printers, and network connectivity.

You will work with the IT Director and IT Operations Administrator to minimize disruptions, maintain records, and help staff use technology

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical support, helpdesk, desktop support, or related role preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, iOS/iPadOS, mobile devices, printers, and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of networking, user accounts, permissions, and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong troubleshoot ing, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to assist users with varying skill levels.
• Ability to follow procedures, work independently on routine assignments, and escalate when needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees.
• Assist with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, phones, and network equipment.
• Coordinate repairs, warranty services, and equipment retirement.
• Apply software and OS updates using established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, repairs, and assignments.
• Support onboarding and offboarding, including device deployment and access changes.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, VPN, and related services.
• Conduct IT orientation for new employees and basic training on Microsoft applications and security.
