IT Operations Officer

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $105,000.00 Annually

Job Title: IT Operations Officer

Department: Information Technology

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Head of IT

Summary/Objective:Under the direction of the Head Of IT, takes complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations, user support and branch/office IT environment. Must be prepared to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Essential Functions:

• Direct responsibility for supervising, evaluating and training IT operations staff in performing duties including off-hour coverage.
• Arrange training and assist end users to learn and use new applications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer hardware and software inventory control and update configuration information.
• Maintain operational dashboards, daily health checks, and system availability reports.
• Work with internal teams to resolve recurring technical issues and improve operational workflows.
• Maintain and update standard day-to-day operating procedures.
• Support patching, change management, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Assist with disaster recovery tests and business continuity planning exercises.
• Contribute to compliance, audit, and security tasks by generating logs and documentation when required.
• Collaborate with application support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams for seamless operations.

In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Knowledge and experience in general banking IT operations, technical support, and/or infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Basic understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 3 to 7 years of related experience and/or training.

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of Computer Operating Systems, Windows, Microsoft applications.

Language/Communication Skills:

Proficiency in Mandarin highly desirable.
