Zanders Sporting Goods seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead our information technology operations. You will plan, direct, and oversee IT staff, systems, infrastructure, and vendors to ensure secure, reliable technology aligned with business goals.

The role requires expertise in Windows Server, AD, cybersecurity, and budget management. You will drive policy development, disaster recovery, and IT project execution in a family-owned wholesale distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years IT experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations, help desk, and infrastructure.
• Lead and train IT staff per policy.
• Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Plan and maintain hardware, software, networks, and security.
• Ensure data security, backups, DR, and BC.
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, and licensing.
• Develop and manage IT budget and forecasting.
• Lead IT projects and process improvements.
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning.
• Align IT strategy with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Respond to IT incidents and escalations.
• Provide hands-on technical support as needed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
