Job summary
The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee enterprise technology operations. Reporting to the Director of IT Operations, you will lead teams across systems, applications, infrastructure, and service desk, driving automation and reliability in a hybrid/cloud ecosystem.
You will help build and launch MCCCD’s new Operations Center, a central hub for monitoring, incident response, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and five years of professional IT experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
- Experience managing enterprise IT operations in multi-site environments and using ITIL to deliver services.
- Experience leading major incident response and working with cloud/hybrid environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, assign, supervise, and evaluate staff work.
- Identify training needs and promote professional growth.
- Lead change, incident, and problem management processes using ITIL framework.
- Monitor health, performance, and availability of enterprise systems and infrastructure.
- Oversee security, patch management, and capacity planning; manage cloud/hybrid environments.
