Job summary

HomeWAV in St. Louis, MO seeks an experienced IT Manager to lead internal IT operations and oversee a Tier 2 Technical Support team. This hands-on leadership role covers asset management, hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure, and security.

You will guide cross-functional collaborations to ensure reliable service delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IT infrastructure management, 2+ years leading teams, and deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and identity/access controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT fields.
• 5+ years managing IT infrastructure or advanced technical support environments.
• 2+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience supporting customer-facing technical support or escalation teams.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Defender, and endpoint protection.
• Strong networking knowledge including routing, switching, VPNs, and segmentation.
• Familiarity with ITIL and SOC 2-type security/compliance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations and Tier 2 support teams for internal users.
• Oversee ticket management, escalations, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure reliable service.
• Oversee networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, and collaboration platforms.
• Manage identity and access controls (Azure AD/Entra ID, MFA, SSO).
• Ensure asset tracking, procurement, and device lifecycle management.
• Lead deployment and testing of hardware and product features in field environments.
• Improve security controls, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
