Job summary

The role is onsite and focuses on delivering reliable, compliant technical support. Candidates should have an Associate degree in MIS or equivalent, at least six years in a large enterprise environment, and prior supervisory or lead experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in MIS or equivalent; at least six years of related work experience.
• Minimum of two years experience as a supervisor or lead role preferred.
• Experience in medium to large enterprise environments; familiarity with incident management.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance and high-level assistance; acts as escalation POC for fellow technicians.
• Offers guidance in system access security and user capabilities.
• Helps manage relationships between local IT and escalation points within McKesson.
• Enforces and supports the IT Change Management process.
• Ensures SLA adherence and compliance with local McKesson policies; suggests operational improvements.
• Supports a complex IT landscape with multiple vendors and stakeholders.
• Reviews and recommends hardware/software purchases and upgrades.
• Provides staff performance feedback to the Sr. IT Manager; supports IT leadership.
• Leads staff in project/task coordination for smooth deployment transitions.
