Job summary

Tencent seeks a proactive IT Operations Intern to join the US PA office. You will support daily IT operations, project delivery, data analysis, and operational planning, collaborating with IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Service Support teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in improving IT service quality, delivery efficiency, and operational visibility while contributing to cross-team initiatives and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems, CS, IT management, engineering, analytics, or PM.
• Basic understanding of IT operations, service management, infrastructure, or enterprise IT support.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and drive items to closure.
• Experience or interest in project coordination, operational planning, or service delivery.
• Comfort with data and Excel for analysis, reporting, and tracking.
• Experience with dashboards/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio) is a plus.
• Fast learner, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Available for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months.
• Able to commit to Tencent's PA office in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IT operations, including issue follow-up, service tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Assist in coordinating IT projects and operational initiatives with task tracking and stakeholder updates.
• Work with IT engineers to ensure actions are assigned, followed up, and closed on time.
• Collect, organize, and analyze IT operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, trackers, and management summaries for visibility.
• Help plan team activities, reviews, trainings, workshops, and cross-team meetings.
