Job summary

Allia Health Group in Houston is seeking an IT Network Specialist to own the on-premise network and its security at the Southend Pharmacy facility, collaborating with the CTO's cloud security team to align site infrastructure with cloud workloads.

You will build a centralized logging, alerting, and monitoring layer, manage firewall rules, site connectivity, and incident response, ensuring HIPAA compliance and reliability across production systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience in IT/networking.
• 5–8 years in network administration or engineering preferred.
• Experience owning a production network including change decisions and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Own on-premise network security for the compounding facility and related sites.
• Design and maintain network segmentation for production systems and PHI-bearing workstations.
• Manage firewall rule lifecycle with change approvals.
• Deploy and operate centralized logging across devices and systems.
• Build and tune alert rules with defined severity levels.
