Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to design and implement LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions across global sites.

You will develop architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices while evaluating emerging technologies and collaborating with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure network architectures. The role involves Tier 3 support, incident resolution, capacity planning, and contributing to major global infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical or business field.
• 5–8 years of enterprise networking experience.
• Experience supporting global WAN environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting of routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience in a regulated global environment, preferably in manufacturing, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN, WAN, wireless, SD-WAN, and remote connectivity solutions.
• Develop architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies.
• Provide Tier 3 network support and incident resolution.
• Manage network performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Support root cause analysis for major incidents.
• Partner with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure network architectures.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and technology refresh programs.
• Participate in global infrastructure and business transformation projects.
