Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (WM) in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design and maintain our North American network connecting 50+ locations to a global network. You will ensure that the organization’s computer systems and networks remain secure and reliable while driving the corporate IT Shared Services strategy.

This role will focus on WAN/LAN/VPN/VoIP, firewall policy creation, and network upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in CS/MIS or equivalent; certification preferred.
• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting large networks.
• Knowledge of Fortinet, Cisco, Aruba hardware and related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WAN/LAN/Remote Access and VPN configurations for organization-wide use.
• Monitor network performance, security, and reliability; conduct audits.
• Plan upgrades, configure firewall policies, and maintain system documentation.
• Collaborate with teams; mentor and develop junior staff; travel as needed.
