Job summary

System Soft Technologies in Michigan is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a multi-year modernization IT program. The role emphasizes change and vendor management, and experience with Microsoft DevOps within Agile Scrum teams.

The PM will coordinate stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, and budget as defined in the project charter, and foster collaboration across IT and business teams for successful delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in large enterprise environments.
• 5+ years Agile Scrum experience.
• Experience managing budgets greater than $20 million.
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and communicate project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
• Understand business and technical objectives and work closely with Product Owners.
• Communicate status to stakeholders, including the Modernization Steering Team and agency management.
• Maintain effective vendor communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead collaboration between technical and business teams to gain consensus and commitment.
