GDIT seeks an Execution PMO Lead to direct the project management organization driving IT modernization and system integration initiatives. You will provide leadership, structure, and disciplined execution across active projects in a complex enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in PMO roles, strong governance experience, and a proven ability to mentor PMs while delivering predictable performance. Onsite Washington, DC, with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active UQ or TS clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience with IT modernization or integration.
• Demonstrated success leading project managers and PMO functions.
• Experience designing, implementing, and enforcing PMO standards and processes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT delivery, systems integration, cloud modernization, and operational change management.
• Experience managing SLAs and mission-critical performance commitments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO execution function overseeing project managers delivering IT modernization, system integration, and enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
• Establish, implement, and refine PMO process standards, delivery frameworks, templates, and governance protocols.
• Oversee project performance against SLAs and commitments; drive accountability and issue resolution.
• Direct change management across modernization and integration projects with clear communication and quality control.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership to ensure integrated delivery into production.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to project managers; build a high-performing PMO team.
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and resource constraints across multiple efforts.
• Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, and executive communications.
• Drive continual service improvement across processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with customer leadership to align goals with mission requirements.
• Support forecasting, resource planning, and staffing for PMO-managed projects.
• Maintain oversight of budgets, schedules, scope, and change control.
