Job summary

LanceSoft seeking an experienced Project Manager in Boston for a DOL modernization initiative. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate vendors, and manage multiple workstreams through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance lifecycles. Salesforce experience is highly preferred.

The role is hybrid with initial onsite requirements, 37.5 hours/week, contract through 06/30/2027 with potential extension, and strong governance and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing software implementations or large technology modernization projects.
• Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
• Understanding of SDLC and software release management.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams in a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and documentation.
• Manage scope, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and technical partners.
• Track deliverables and milestones and escalate as needed.
• Lead meetings, communicate status, and manage action items.
• Coordinate acceptance testing and business validation.
• Support software deployments, testing, and release activities.
• Maintain budgets and track vendor billing and performance.
• Ensure effective communication across business and technical stakeholders.
