Job summary

Calise Bakery is seeking an IT Manager to lead staff, analyze user needs, and automate or improve systems in a hands-on, cybersecurity-focused role at our Lincoln, RI campus. The role includes project leadership for IT initiatives and ensuring system reliability and data protection.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, expertise in MS SQL Server and Infor SyteLine, and strong management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in Computer Science or Information Services.
• 5-7 years in a similar role within the manufacturing sector (food & beverage preferred).
• Experience in cybersecurity and protecting systems, networks and data from digital attacks or unauthorized access.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems.
• Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems including installation, upgrades and enhancements.
• Coordinate and link computer systems within the organization to increase compatibility and information sharing.
• Serve as project leader for all computer systems projects within the company.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses to aid decisions on system upgrades or new implementations.
• Maintain integrity of all databases and company network systems.
