Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS or equivalent professional experience
• 3–7+ years of progressive IT experience with hands‑on troubleshooting
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Azure AB-900 and MC-900 are desirable
• Experience supporting CMMC/NIST 800‑171/DFARS or similar frameworks is a plus
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High environments is a plus
• Experience with at least one major AI platform and orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain) is preferred
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi security fundamentals is a plus
• Proficiency in Office 365 administration, MFA/2MFA, Windows, and endpoint management
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance is required

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary internal IT contact, coordinating day‑to‑day needs with the MSP
• Drive IT initiatives to optimize workflows and accelerate technology deployments
• Support and maintain IT policies, disaster recovery procedures, and user training
• Identify software and applications to solve business problems
• Deliver and operationalize AI use cases (enterprise search, summarization, agent workflows)
• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures using vector databases
• Lead IT project planning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and provisioning in Microsoft 365 GCC High and networks
• Maintain access controls and perform periodic security audits
• Assist with provisioning hardware and maintaining asset inventory
• Develop and optimize troubleshooting procedures for reliable IT services
• Support LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPNs, and remote access with secure connectivity
• Assist with infrastructure improvements for reliability and scalability
• Support documentation and vendor coordination
