Job summary

Halozyme Hypercon, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead technology operations across two Boston-area locations. This role partners with Halozyme IT to support laboratory systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and end-user services in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT management, knowledge of ITIL/ITSM, and experience with laboratory environments and cGXP data integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3+ years of IT management experience.
Experience with scientific laboratory environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, end-user computing, and cybersecurity.
Familiarity with ITIL and enterprise ITSM processes.
Working knowledge of cGXP requirements and data integrity.
Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the single point of accountability for IT functions across two Boston office locations.
Manage hardware, software, network infrastructure, and physical security systems.
Support laboratory IT needs, including R&D systems and data integrity workflows.
Administer LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, switches, and site connectivity to Halozyme network.
Oversee end-user computing, device provisioning, imaging, patching, and software deployment.
Collaborate with Halozyme IT on enterprise initiatives and post-acquisition integration.
Run IT help desk for both sites and report KPIs to leadership.
Plan disaster recovery and business continuity; manage licenses and lifecycle.
