Job summary

Sightline Intelligence seeks an IT Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate the technology infrastructure and systems that keep the Portland office running. This role includes networks, servers, cloud platforms, and help desk operations, with a focus on secure, reliable, and cost-effective decisions.

Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, you will lead uptime, security posture, vendor relationships, and IT projects while driving improvements in service quality and incident response.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of IT practices, policies, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of programming, CS, and digital security.
• Clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision making.
• Advanced leadership and conflict management skills.
• Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate technology infrastructure and systems.
• Oversee networks, servers, cloud platforms, help desk operations, and cybersecurity controls.
• Maintain vendor relationships and manage IT projects.
• Bridge executive leadership and technical staff to translate business needs into secure, reliable decisions.
• Monitor uptime, service quality, security posture, and project delivery.
• Develop monitoring, escalation, and incident response strategies.
