Confidential Employer in Culver City is seeking an IT leader to own a mission-critical environment, hands-on across infrastructure, security, and Microsoft 365. Lead and mentor a junior technician while ensuring HIPAA compliance, uptime, and strong backups.

The role covers a broad tech stack (Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, Hyper-V, SentinelOne, Ubiquiti) with 24/7 on-call support and an on-site, full-time commitment.

• 8+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience.
• Healthcare or pharmacy IT experience required.
• Hands-on HIPAA compliance experience required.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Exchange, AD/Entra ID, and Intune experience.
• Strong Windows Server, networking, backups, endpoint security, and EDR experience.
• Experience supporting both on-site and remote users.
• Ability to lead a junior technician while remaining hands-on.
• On-site Culver City role with 24/7 on-call support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the day-to-day administration, reliability, and security of the IT environment.
• Troubleshoot desktop, printer, server, network, and infrastructure issues.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange, AD/Entra ID, Intune, identity governance, and device compliance.
• Administer Windows Server environments including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and related infrastructure.
• Manage networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, cameras, backups, endpoint security, encryption, MFA, logging, and monitoring.
• Oversee Hyper-V environments, Microsoft SQL Server, EDR tools, remote management platforms, and related systems.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant technical safeguards protecting ePHI.
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, security practices, backups, disaster recovery, and overall reliability.
• Support both on-site and remote employees across a broad range of needs.
• Supervise and mentor a junior Helpdesk Technician.
• Provide hands-on support for printers, VOIP, MDM, and other business tech.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage for critical issues.

Note: This role requires 8+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience, healthcare or pharmacy IT experience, HIPAA compliance experience, and strong proficiency across Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, servers, networking, backups, and EDR/security. Full-time on-site availability and 24/7 on-call support are required.

• Provide hands-on support for printers, print servers, VOIP, mobile device management, and other business technology
• Participate in 24/7 on-call coverage for critical technology issues

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive, hands-on IT experience
• Healthcare or pharmacy IT experience required
• Hands-on HIPAA compliance experience required
• Strong Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Intune experience
• Strong Windows Server, networking, backup, endpoint security, and EDR experience
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, systems, networks, applications, and security
• Experience supporting both on-site and remote users
• Ability to lead a junior technical team member while remaining highly hands-on
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work full-time on site in Culver City and provide 24/7 on-call support
• Experience with cable installation/termination, camera systems, Ubiquiti equipment, printers, electronics, Hyper-V, SQL Server, MaaS360, RingCentral, or Splashtop is highly preferred
