Frankenmuth Insurance Company is seeking a technical IT Manager to lead the technology delivery and operations of Systems Administration-related software and services. The role oversees system configuration, upgrades, and performance, partnering with IT teams to drive efficiency, security, and a superior customer experience.

The IT Manager – Systems Administration will directly manage a team of 10 Systems Administrators, supporting Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Cisco

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience managing IT teams
• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in a systems administration or enterprise systems role.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and telepresence solutions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives with competing priorities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Systems Administration management: uptime, security controls, audits, upgrades, and patches.
• Manage vendor contracts and budgeting for applications/services.
• Lead cross-functional enterprise initiatives with visibility and complexity.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects per standards.
• Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to align priorities.
