Enterprise AI Platform · San Francisco, CA
About the Company
A fast‑growing AI platform serving Fortune 500 clients, processing over 40,000 tickets per day across voice, chat, and email. The company recently closed a $61M Series A and has scaled from roughly 15 to 75+ employees in under a year.
Culture is built around speed, first‑principles thinking, and pragmatic security — the goal is always to build what matters, skip what doesn’t, and never over‑engineer the process.
"This is the company’s first dedicated IT hire. No inherited playbooks, no siloed processes — just high‑impact work at an AI company serving some of the world’s largest enterprises."
The Opportunity
You’ll own the entire IT and security function — building it from scratch and defining what gets built versus skipped. You’ll operate as a team of one with full authority over the function: tooling selection, compliance, vendor management, security posture, and day‑to‑day support.
This is the kind of role that shapes how a company operates at scale. The decisions you make in the next 12 months will define IT infrastructure and security culture for years to come.
1. 30‑minute conversation with the hiring team to discuss background, the role, and mutual fit.
2. Technical Interview – Deep‑dive on your IT/security experience, compliance background, and how you approach building from scratch.
3. Onsite / Final Round – Meet operations and engineering leadership. Walk through a practical scenario on scoping the IT function.
