Gulf Copper LLC seeks an Information Technology Manager to oversee IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, focusing on Microsoft 365 GCC-HIGH and Azure Government environments.

The role requires experience with DoD cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC) and translating technical concepts for senior leadership, with budget oversight and vendor negotiations. On-site work alongside maritime operations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years IT management experience, DoD contracts or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 GCC-HIGH suite.
• DoD frameworks: NIST 800-171 and CMMC familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and security of IT systems.
• Develop and maintain IT procedures to ensure compliance.
• Administer Microsoft 365 GCC-HIGH apps and Azure Government.
• Ensure systems comply with DoD cybersecurity standards.
• Translate IT concepts for senior leadership.
• Manage IT budgets and vendor negotiations.
• Communicate initiatives and project progress to management.
• Coordinate IT support with operations in marine vessel repair context.
