Job summary

GLOTECH, Inc. seeks an IT Administrator to own day-to-day operations of a Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government environment. This role will manage the GCC High identity stack and keep laptops, phones, and printers running for a distributed team.

You will help implement security controls, align with federal expectations (CMMS/NIST), and support two offices plus remote users in a part-time, W-2 position with limited benefits, paid time off and holidays; salary range is $38.00-$40.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen; able to obtain a DoD clearance (active clearance a plus).
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Azure in live environments; GCC High or Azure Government experience strongly preferred.
• Strong remote endpoint management for laptops and phones; printers networked.
• Security instincts: MFA, logging, least privilege, and clean documentation.
• Comfort supporting two offices plus remote users; periodic travel.
• Security+ (or other DoD 8140 IAT II) now or within six months.
• Federal contractor and CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 GCC High and Azure Government / Entra ID: accounts, groups, licensing, mail, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Enforce MFA, Conditional Access, and least-privilege access; keep joiner/mover/leaver processes tight.
• Remotely manage Windows laptops (Intune/Endpoint Manager or equivalent): imaging/enrollment, patching, compliance, BitLocker, and retirement.
• Manage smartphones and app-protection policies; execute remote wipe and lost-device procedures.
• Support IP printers and print services.
• Provide responsive support to office and remote staff; maintain inventory and practical runbooks.
• Assist the IT Manager with CMMC / NIST SP 800-171 technical controls, logging, baselines, access reviews, and assessment evidence.
• Work within change control; document what you change and why.
