SV Microwave in West Palm Beach, FL seeks an IT Manager to lead our technology function, ensuring reliable infrastructure, business systems, and data security to support growth. The role combines hands-on technical depth with strategic thinking and strong service orientation, communicating clearly with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
• High integrity and personal responsibility.
• Experience administering or supporting Microsoft Windows Servers/Workstations, Firewalls, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, VMWare, NAS, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP.
• General understanding of the Microsoft .NET framework – C#, ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Manages the technology infrastructure and ensures its availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Hires, develops, and manages IT staff, including assigning work, setting expectations, and facilitating professional growth.
• Develops and maintains project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational priorities.
• Oversees development, implementation and upgrades of software and hardware systems.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the use of technology within the organization.
• Stays up-to-date with advances in technology and makes recommendations for incorporating new technologies into the organization.
• Ensures the security of sensitive data and systems, including implementing data backup and recovery procedures and cyber security tools.
• Creates documentation, communicates changes and organizes/conducts training for employees as needed.
• Maintains effective communication and working relationships with team members.
