Job summary

Behavioral Health Network is seeking an IT Manager to provide administrative and technical oversight of core technology operations, aligning IT with organizational needs. The role oversees service coordination, procurement, vendor relationships, asset and license controls, applications, and team performance.

You will lead IT activities for onboarding, manage procurement and licensing, supervise staff, and partner with senior IT leadership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • At least two years IT management experience or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, servers, virtualization, and VPN/LAN/WAN/WLAN.
  • Experience supervising staff and building a collaborative team.
  • Excellent customer service and change-management mindset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams, Outlook, Excel.
  • Experience with project-management systems and service-desk tools.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT activities for New Employee Orientation and collaborate with HR to ensure timely technology support.
  • Manage IT appointment scheduling and monitor service volume, walk-ins, missed appointments, and related trends.
  • Triage new technology requests, clarify business needs, and coordinate next steps.
  • Oversee procurement for IT hardware, software, and services, including PO's, invoices, and supplier coordination.
  • Supervise assigned staff by reviewing workloads and addressing performance issues.
  • Maintain IT Teams channels, OneDrive resources, and password vault content.
  • Develop technology-related content for BHN’s monthly employee newsletter.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate IT activities for New Employee Orientation and collaborate with Human Resources to ensure employees receive timely technology support.
  • Manage IT appointment scheduling and monitor service volume, walk‑ins, missed appointments, and related operational trends.
  • Triage new technology requests, clarify business needs, and coordinate appropriate next steps.
  • Receive and follow up on employee concerns involving Managed Service Provider performance and provide daily operational guidance to on‑site MSP staff.
  • Manage procurement for IT hardware, software, and services, including purchase orders, invoices, supplier coordination, and reconciliation with Fiscal.
  • Oversee mobile‑device ordering, secure flash‑drive management, equipment purchasing, and the tracking of hardware and software‑license inventories.
  • Manage technology vendors, including ISP service changes, vendor agreements, review cycles, and technology‑related Business Associate Agreements.
  • Oversee equipment recycling and maintain accurate records and certificates of destruction.
  • Manage assigned applications, operational reporting, and Microsoft license issuance, including Visio and Microsoft 365.
  • Manage statements of work by tracking vendor requests, recording status, and reconciling completed work with invoices.
  • Partner with the MSP to track root‑cause analyses and follow‑through for system issues.
  • Maintain the structure and content of IT Teams channels, OneDrive resources, the service‑desk knowledge base, department access devices, and the password vault.
  • Develop technology‑related content for BHN’s monthly employee newsletter and other internal communications.
  • Supervise assigned staff by reviewing workloads, addressing performance issues, recognizing contributions, and supporting cooperation, stability, and effective conflict resolution.

Who You Are:

  • High School Diploma required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • At least two years of IT management experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networking, servers, virtualization, desktop computing, VPN, LAN, WAN, and WLAN; hands‑on systems‑administration experience or supervisory oversight of an IT function is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise employees, balance workloads, address performance concerns, and build a collaborative team culture.
  • Strong customer‑service and change‑management mindset, supported by excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, organization, attention‑to‑detail, and time‑management skills.
  • Self‑motivated and comfortable taking initiative while recognizing when consultation or escalation is appropriate.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Teams, Outlook, and Excel, as well as web‑based vendor portals and applications.
  • Familiarity with project‑management systems and concepts, service‑desk ticketing systems, and videoconferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Ability to work on‑site within BHN’s IT Department, travel occasionally to other BHN locations as needed, and lift or carry IT equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
