LSCHC seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead IT operations across multiple clinics, ensuring reliable desktop, network, and vendor support for 100+ staff. You will oversee assets, implement policies, and coordinate with leadership to plan future IT needs.

The role emphasizes hands-on system administration, network support, and project leadership to maintain secure and efficient information systems across four locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or 3+ years of relevant IT experience) is required.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health and Dental Records and UDS Reporting Database software.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily Help Desk functions and coordinate with the network hosting vendor.
  • Provide technical support via phone, email, or live demonstrations for internal staff.
  • Install, configure, and support wired/wireless routers, switches, and related hardware.
  • Manage desktops, laptops, tablets, scanners, and peripheral devices.
  • Create and manage IT asset inventory and procure IT products.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures and plan future IT needs.

Job description

An Information Technology Manager applies technical expertise to the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of IT systems to support LSCHC staff in caring for patients. IT Managers typically focus on a specific computer network, database, and or systems administration functions.
The IT Managerwill perform duties necessary to support LSCHC’s information systems including desktop support, hardware support, phone system support, vendor support and network support at the four LSCHC locations for 100+ employees. IT Manager leads team projects and company initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform daily Help Desk functions. Work in coordination with network hosting vendor to identify and resolve issues locally.
  • Provide technical support for internal clients and staff via phone, email, or live demonstration.
  • Assist network hosting vendor in troubleshooting downtime system issues with business applications.
  • Install, configure, and support wired network routers, wireless network routers, switches, battery backups.
  • Install, configure, and support Windows desktops, laptops and related hardware including but not limited to tablets, scanners, copiers, hot spot devices, and cellular devices.
  • Manage data closets, patching facilities, and drops for 4 clinic locations.
  • Provide vendor support and facilitate issue resolution when onsite support is required.
  • Work in coordination with CEO to keep an accurate and up to date inventory of IT assets.
  • Procure all IT related products (i.e., desktops, laptops and peripherals).
  • Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Coordinate technology installations, upgrades and maintenance.
  • Create new employee accounts in AD and 365
  • Develop project plans, goals, and budgets for IT projects.
  • Plan for future IT needs with management and vendors.
  • Recommend, schedule and perform hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and/or purchases.
  • Evaluate technology risk.
  • Physical presence at the workplace(s) is an essential function of the job.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Electronic Health and Dental Records and UDS Reporting Database software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Familiarity with AD, 365, Group Policy creation and Azzure
Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of three years relevant experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
