Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience, ideally including startup exposure
• Comfort working as the sole IT person on the team
• Strong ability to select, deploy and manage IT tools (MDM, IdP, SSO, AD/SAMBA) at scale
• Solid networking fundamentals (LAN/DNS, VLANs, IP addressing) and cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, some Linux)

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support across two Bay Area sites
• Establish and maintain network SLA including lab instruments
• Onboard/offboard employees: accounts, hardware, asset lifecycle
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors on projects
• Select, deploy and manage IT systems (SSO, endpoint security, backups)
