Our partner is an American start-up company with Bulgarian partners. Their work is at the intersectoin of finance/ trading and encription. Headquartered in New York, they are looking for talented professionals to join the team and work remotely.

About the role

For this remote position we are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join the team and work within their enterprise. If you are passionate about technology, always seeking to learn and improve your skillset, you are the type of person we are looking for!

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java development experience
• Spring, Modern Spring boot, Gradle
• REST APIs, Oauth & related technologies
• AWS experience
• IaC experience (Terraform)
• Linux poweruser knowledge (dev env is Linux / OS, Windows only in VMs)
• Major plus: transactional & accounting focused software (trading, gambling, betting, biding, crypto)
• Maintaining a full application lifecycle, including updates, compliance, etc.

Soft Skills

• Totally flexible working hours, 30min weekly call - suitable for parents
• Being capable of solving problems when they arise fast and efficiently
