Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking an IT Invoicing & Procurement Intern to support the IT Invoicing and Procurement teams in ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments. The role assists with expense management and the purchasing of goods and services for the IT organization.

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to invoice processing, vendor communications, and collaboration with IT leaders on spending controls while developing professional skills in a structured corporate setting.

• Ability to identify problems, develop and execute solutions
• Ability to interact with computer systems such as Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as job-specific programs

Responsibilities

• Supports IT Leadership with processing of invoices for all technology products, ensures timely payment and correct classification, billing to other business units.
• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the Hy-Vee
• Track inventory and late shipments and identify shortage of product
• Answers inquiries from internal partners, vendors, construction and third party installer
• Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
