Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking a Network & Systems Intern to assist with updates to our IT infrastructure, including Active Directory, networking, and server imaging. The role entails working with store and corporate staff and may require travel and overnight stays.

The internship runs from mid-May to mid-August, with potential to exceed 40 hours per week. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have recently earned a degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering or another technical field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently earned degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering or similar technical field.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and devices.
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell or Bash) and basic hardware knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with updates to current IT infrastructure.
• Work with AD, networking, and server imaging tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate findings to staff.
• Complete maintenance on network devices and servers.
