Job summary

Sabre Corporation in Dallas, TX seeks a Staff IT Auditor to join its global Internal Audit team. You will evaluate IT general controls, system access, and risk across a dynamic tech environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, analytical rigor, and improving internal controls while enabling speed and innovation. You'll leverage data analytics and AI tools to extract data, perform sampling, and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of IT internal audit, risk assessment or systems auditing.
• Active pursuit of professional certifications (CIA, CISA, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of data extraction, sampling and data visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of IT general controls, system access management and frameworks like COBIT or NIST.
• Ability to document workpapers and communicate risk findings clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, IT or related field.
• Experience using data analytics or AI tools to extract data and accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Execute audit testing for IT general controls, system access, change management and SOX compliance.
• Evaluate tech infrastructure, databases and OS against policies and security standards.
• Map processes, identify risks and draft audit observations with evidence.
• Test IT general controls across access, change management and operations.
• Audit IT components and lifecycle management (patching, backup, recovery).
• Partner with process owners to drive remediation of deficiencies.
• Use AI-enabled tools to run data queries and streamline sampling.

The Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management team performs operational audits, has extensive purview over the Sarbanes Oxley testing program, and oversees the Enterprise Risk Management processes for SABRE Corporation.

The function is part of SABRE Corporation’s broader Finance team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer administratively and to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors functionally.

As a Staff IT Auditor, you will evaluate IT general controls, system access and technology risks across our dynamic tech environment. You will execute risk-based audit procedures, identify process improvements and collaborate across departments to strengthen internal controls. This role requires sharp analytical skills, attention to detail and the drive to challenge legacy workflows.

What you’ll do

• Execute audit testing for IT general controls, system access, change management and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Evaluate technology infrastructure, databases and operating systems against established policies and security standards.
• Map end-to-end process flows, identify key risks and draft clear audit observations supported by strong evidence.
• Perform testing on IT General Controls across categories such as access controls, change management, and operations.
• Audit basic components of IT infrastructure (applications, operating systems, databases) and life-cycle management processes (testing approvals, patching, backup/recovery).
• Partner with process owners to build productive relationships and guide effective deficiency remediation.
• Use AI-enabled tools and automation to execute data queries, spot anomalies and streamline audit sampling.

What you’ll bring

• 1-4 years of experience in IT internal audit, risk assessment or systems auditing.
• Active pursuit of or interest in exploring professional certifications (such as CIA, CISA, etc.) reflecting a commitment to career growth.
• Basic knowledge of data extraction, statistical sampling, and data visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of IT general controls, system access management and control frameworks like COBIT or NIST.
• Demonstrated ability to document detailed workpapers and communicate technical risk findings clearly.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, information technology, computer science or a related business field.
• Practical experience using data analytics or AI tools to extract data, conduct sampling and accelerate work.
