Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manager, IT Internal Audit to lead technology risk management, cybersecurity assurance, AI governance, and audit automation while partnering with the IT organization. Reporting to the VP, Internal Audit, this role shapes the future of technology risk at a multinational technology company.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in IT audit or risk, holds CISA/CISSP/CIA, or equivalent, and can lead global teams, develop risk-based plans, and communicate with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, accounting, computer science or related field.
• CISA, CISSP, CIA or equivalent professional certification required.
• 5-7 years of experience in internal or external audit, technology risk, cybersecurity, or IT controls.
• Experience leading teams and managing complex audit engagements or advisory projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, ITIL, SOX, SSAE 18, SOC, data privacy).
• Proven ability to translate technical risk into actionable senior leadership insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and modernize the internal audit function for technology risk, cybersecurity, and AI governance.
• Develop risk-based audit plans and execute audits across technology, cybersecurity, and operations.
• Build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders and manage cross-functional teams.
• Drive audit automation, analytics, and continuous monitoring to improve effectiveness.
• Collaborate with co-sourcing partners and senior management to remediate deficiencies.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for global IT operational audit activities and EMERging tech risks.
