Job summary

Heartland Co-op seeks an IT professional to support local area networks, end-user devices, and telecommunications services. The role includes maintaining hardware, software, printers, servers, routers, and cabling, plus vendor coordination and IT inventory upkeep.

The candidate will train users, assist remote workers, and participate in software upgrades. Willingness to travel to Heartland Co-op locations and hold a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or 2–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC/network troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
• Assists with replacement of computer equipment such as terminals, monitors, and printers.
• Support remote users via phone to minimize site visits.
• Train users on basic hardware, software and equipment usage.
• Install and test software upgrades.
