Job summary

Tank Connection in Parsons, KS is seeking an IT Intern to assist with software and network support, training, and routine IT maintenance.

You will diagnose problems, help end-users, install and configure new equipment, and document requests through the IT help desk. Enrollment in an IT-focused college program and a high school diploma or GED are required; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) with 2 years of additional schooling and/or training.
• Enrolled in a college program with an IT focus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software problems as needed.
• Train staff as needed on hardware and software use.
• Use the IT Help Desk request system to document, prioritize, and track requests.
• Install and configure new computers and telephones.
• Repair and upgrade PC or mobile device hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and copiers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
