Job summary

Collins Engineers, Inc is seeking a self-motivated Information Technology Intern to join our Chicago, IL team. You will support all offices by monitoring management tools, providing technical troubleshooting oversight, and setting up new computer configurations.

This role will assist with ongoing IT projects, help desk support, and inventory of equipment, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in Windows, Azure, and office software.

Qualifications

• Freshman or sophomore pursuing a bachelor's degree in Information Technology from a four-year university.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Azure, and Adobe Acrobat is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with providing computer hardware, software, and technical support.
• Provide help desk support.
• Install and troubleshoot problems with office software systems, including installing new applications, installing upgrades, and assisting users to solve software problems.
• Set up new workstations.
• Conduct inventory of all technological equipment.

Education
