Job summary

Worthington Enterprises, Inc. in Columbus is seeking an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience in information technology, troubleshooting, and business support. You’ll set up computer equipment, assist with inventory, and help end users while developing professional skills.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, teamwork, and basic Windows and Office familiarity, plus some programming coursework. You’ll join a collaborative IT team and contribute to documentation and project tasks while

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of PCs and MS Windows.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points).
• At least one year of programming experience (can include coursework).

Responsibilities

• Setup and install computer equipment (computers, monitors, network equipment, etc.), which may involve moving computing equipment between locations/buildings
• Assist with managing technology inventory
• Assist end users with technology related requests/issues and general troubleshooting
• Assist with technical documentation
• Assist with developing code
• Assist with Project Management and general IT administration tasks
