Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality; support operations by resolving issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, or productivity.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve standard work instructions, process documentation, visual controls, and SOPs; train and support employees on processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI initiatives using Lean tools; lead root-cause analysis for quality, equipment, and production concerns; participate in Kaizen events.
  • Support projects to improve throughput, reduce downtime, and increase operational effectiveness; evaluate equipment, tooling, and workflow improvements with production leadership.
  • Develop, track, and report KPIs such as efficiency, scrap, rework, downtime, and productivity; sustain safety, quality, and compliance initiatives across the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Support production operations by identifying and resolving process-related issues that impact safety, quality, delivery, or productivity. Analyze manufacturing data and performance metrics to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve standard work instructions, process documentation, visual controls, manufacturing procedures, and operating procedures, ensuring all documentation remains accurate, current, and compliant with company standards. Train and support employees on manufacturing processes, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles and tools. Lead and participate in root cause analysis activities related to quality, equipment, and production concerns. Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities to drive operational excellence.
  • Support manufacturing projects focused on improving throughput, reducing downtime, and increasing operational effectiveness. Assist in evaluating manufacturing equipment, tooling, and workflow improvements to increase operational effectiveness. Work closely with production leadership to identify and remove barriers impacting operational performance.
  • Assist with the development, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), including efficiency, scrap, rework, downtime, and productivity measures. Support the implementation and sustainment of safety, quality, and compliance initiatives throughout the facility. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Certifications/Experience Required
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issue resolution.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes.
  • Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations that improve operational performance.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with manufacturing metrics, reporting, and performance measurement.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Solid understanding of safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and achieve results through cross-functional teamwork.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Lean certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience preferred.

Compensation range will vary depending on level of experience. $85,000-$139,000
