Job summary

Flexsteel Industries Inc. is seeking an IT intern to gain hands-on exposure across end-user support, systems administration, networking, and business application support.

You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues while contributing to assigned project work. This role emphasizes customer service and ITIL-based practices, with collaboration across teams and opportunities to present project updates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in IT with expected completion in the second year.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting basic network and hardware trouble tickets
• Document internal procedures
• Excellent customer service skills
• Follow helpdesk/desktop support best practices (ITIL-centric) to ensure accurate, timely problem resolution
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of general IT Systems and network concepts, principles, and procedures
• All other duties as assigned
