PROCON is seeking an IT Intern to join our Information Technology team in Hooksett, NH. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience across desktop support, hardware deployment, IT security practices, and technology projects.

You will work closely with experienced IT staff to troubleshoot, set up workstations, and support employees while developing foundational skills and a strong customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interest in developing technical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in responding to help desk tickets and basic technical support requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues under supervision.
• Provide support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Set up and configure new user workstations and equipment.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service to employees across departments.
• Assist with installation and configuration of computers and peripheral devices.
• Support software installations, updates, and routine system checks.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
