Job summary

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program designed to give students practical IT experience across business processes, technology solutions, and applications at Hubbell. As an IT intern, you’ll analyze processes, develop recommendations, document results, and support project delivery while gaining hands-on experience in IT operations and stakeholder engagement.

You will work on value-driven projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May–August 2027).
Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required).
Prior IT project experience and familiarity with Hubbell core technologies (preferred).
Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

Apply skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences.
Work on comprehensive, value-added IT projects.
Collaborate in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment.
Develop technical skills specific to your major.
Provide opportunities for professional development by building relationships and learning about other parts of the business.
Present a final presentation to local management at the end of the program.
Gain knowledge of Hubbell's industry and its IT landscape.
Enhance planning and organizational skills while handling multiple projects.
