Textron Inc. is offering a 10-week summer internship in Information Technology at Hunt Valley, MD. You will support IT projects and participate in activities across IT domains, including infrastructure, development, and cybersecurity. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued to help modernize systems.

You will work in-office full-time, engage in real projects, and gain mentorship and development opportunities within a respected defense and industrial technology company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to cope with ambiguity.
• Ability to work full-time in-office during internship.

Responsibilities

• Support IT team with ongoing and new projects.
• Potential work with IT Business Partner, IT Infrastructure, IT Development, or IT Cyber Security.
• Assist with research, documentation, development, coordination, and decision making.
• Follow Project Management guidelines and change management strategies.
• Contribute to design-build-deliver pipeline from infrastructure to enterprise apps and automation scripts.
• Identify repeated tasks and explore automation opportunities.
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing across IT teams.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
